National convenor, Joanna Santa Barbara, will speak about Our Climate Declaration at the national conference of the Environmental and Ecological Organisations of Aotearoa (ECO) this month.

The conference has the theme of  Environmental Responsibilities and Democracy for the Future: Limits, Pathways and Action, and will be held at Stoke, near Nelson, on August 25^th and 26^th .

Joanna will focus on the strategy of the Declaration of focussing on climate action at the community level, with the intention of building the social mandate for energetic climate action at the government level.
