Dear Member/Supporter
We have two Webinars scheduled for November – see below for details.
You may have attended one of the Our Climate Declaration webinars, which examined the climate-related policies of various political parties standing in the upcoming election.
Politics and the question of climate are intertwined. This newsletter features a well-illustrated and interesting article by Simon Wilson, from his Substack, “Hopetown”. Simon spoke to young people at the Ōtaki Summer Camp about “The worst government of my lifetime”. A topic suggested by Nicky Hager. He also talks about the book “the Ministry of the Future” by Kim Stanley Robinson. This is where the question of the global response to the Climate Crisis begins. We hope you are moved by this article from a respected writer. He asks the question, who or what political theory is really is responsible for bringing the world to the brink of environmental collapse?
