Our first webinar in the Economy of Enough 2022 series featured Hugh Ferguson presenting on "Degrowth: on the way to a steady state economy".

Hugh is a retiree with a background in theatre and IT who has taken on the task of educating himself about environmental science, economics, history, anthropology, ethics, and systems theory. He has had a strong interest in Ecological Economics and recently joined the Green Party. Out of frustration with the lack of progress on climate change and related issues Hugh formed the Degrowth Green Network.

He described not only a bit about the need for degrowth, but also about the actions needed to make it happen.
